Terms of use

These terms cover diarweb, the public property listing site, for visitors and for home seekers with an account. Agencies and brokers who publish listings with Diarweb Pro accept separate terms, the Diarweb Pro terms.

1. Who we are

diarweb ("we", "us") is run by Bits and Blocks LLC, a limited liability company registered in the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC registration No. 3865, incorporated on 19 August 2025), with its registered office at Unit No. 21 BL 28, Level 21, Servcorp Qatar LLC, Doha Tower, West Bay, Doha, Qatar.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you create an account, you accept them when you sign up. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal data, and the cookies page lists what the site stores on your device.

2. What diarweb is

diarweb shows property listings in Qatar published by real estate agencies, and the agencies' own pages. We are not a real estate agency or broker. We are not a party to any let or sale, we do not hold deposits or payments, and we do not act for buyers, tenants, landlords or sellers.

3. Listings are the agencies' content

Each listing is written and published by an agency, which is responsible for it: the description, the photos, the price, availability and the property's location. Before an agency's listings can go public, our team checks its commercial registration and brokerage license numbers. We also refuse or hold descriptions that promise a return on money put into a property. We do not otherwise check listings, and we do not promise that a listing is accurate, complete, current or still available.

Nothing on the site is advice about buying, renting or investing, and nothing on it is an opinion of what a property is worth.

Registered sale prices shown on the site come from the Ministry of Justice's published bulletin, under its license (CC BY 4.0). Zone boundaries come from the Planning and Statistics Authority, and place names from OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).

4. Contacting an agency

You contact an agency or broker by WhatsApp or by phone, from the buttons on a listing or agency page. The conversation is between you and the agency, in your own WhatsApp or phone app. We do not see it and are not responsible for it. We have no contact form and never ask for your phone number.

To protect agencies' numbers, we limit how many times each visitor can tap these buttons. Do not collect agencies' or brokers' numbers in bulk.

5. Accounts

Where search is open, you can create a free account to save listings and set up email alerts. You sign in with a link we send to your email address.

• You must be at least 18 years old, and give an email address you control and your first name.
• Keep access to your email safe: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
• You can stop an alert from any alert email, and delete your account at any time in Account, Details. Deleting removes your saved listings and alerts.
• We may suspend or close an account used against these terms. We will tell you why by email, unless the law or a risk to others prevents it.

6. Acceptable use

Do not:

• copy, scrape or harvest listings, photos, numbers or other content by automated means, except as search engines index public pages where our robots.txt allows it;
• use the site to send spam or unsolicited messages to agencies or brokers;
• interfere with the site, test its security without our written permission, or get around its limits;
• pretend to be someone else, or use the site for anything unlawful.

7. Intellectual property

The site, its design, and the diarweb name and logo belong to Bits and Blocks LLC. Listings and photos belong to the agencies that published them, or to their licensors. You may view listings and share links to them for your own use. Agencies give us a license to show and share their listings under the Diarweb Pro terms.

8. Sponsored content

If we show sponsored listings or agencies, each one is labeled "Sponsored". A sponsored place would not mean that we vouch for the property or the agency.

9. Our responsibility

The site is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from a listing, from dealings between you and an agency, or from not being able to use the site. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right you have, or any liability we have, under mandatory law of the State of Qatar, including consumer protection law, that cannot be limited or excluded by agreement.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We email every account holder at least 30 days before a material change takes effect, in the language they use on diarweb, with what changes and the date it takes effect. A change that the law requires, or one that only adds a new service, may take effect sooner; we still tell you about it by email. We post each new version here with its date.

If you go on using the site or your account after a change takes effect, the new terms apply to you. If you do not accept a change, you can delete your account in Account, Details before it takes effect.

Each version has a date and a version number, shown at the top of this page. We record which version each account holder accepted and when, and we keep every earlier version and send it to you on request.

11. Governing law and language

These terms are governed by the laws of the Qatar Financial Centre. The Qatar Financial Centre Civil and Commercial Court has jurisdiction over any dispute about them. Nothing in this section takes away any right you have under mandatory law of the State of Qatar.

These terms are written in English and translated into Arabic. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails.
