Tips for your property

A clear listing helps the right tenant or buyer find your property and saves everyone time. Go through these points before you list with an agency.
Photos
- Take photos in daylight, with the lights on and the curtains open.
- Tidy each room and put personal items out of sight.
- Photograph every room, the kitchen and bathrooms, and the entrance, parking and any shared pool or gym.
- Hold the phone level and in landscape, from a corner of the room.
Details
- Give the area, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the size in square meters.
- Say whether it is furnished, semi-furnished or unfurnished, and what the rent includes, such as electricity and water, internet or maintenance.
- State the price you ask and the date the property is free. Tell your agency as soon as either changes.
Documents
- Have the title deed or other proof of ownership ready, with your Qatar ID or passport.
- If someone acts for you, prepare a power of attorney.
- For a rental, keep the electricity number of the property at hand: the tenant needs it to open a Kahramaa account.
Before visits
- Fix small repairs and check that the air conditioning and appliances work.
- Agree with your agency who opens the door for each visit.
